Schreib dazu an diyarhas.dev@gmail.com.

We do not receive any personal data through the app. The app itself sends nothing to us or to third parties and has no ads, no tracking, no analytics and no user account. It processes everything on your device only. Third parties only receive data when you get the app from the Microsoft Store, when Microsoft components of Windows run, when you visit our web pages or when you e-mail us. We explain this below.
The app stores your settings, your sound library (computed sound features, no recordings), your profiles, remembered volumes of programs it turned down and a technical log file without audio content on your device only. The app does not transmit this data. It is stored unencrypted in your Windows user profile; access depends on your Windows accounts and permissions. You can delete sounds and profiles in the app at any time. All data is removed when you clear the app data or uninstall the app. We only receive it if you send it to us yourself, e.g. by e-mail. Local storage is necessary for the app to provide the function you requested, so no consent is required (§ 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG).
Audio: the app accesses the sound of programs on your PC to filter it in real time and shows you the names of programs that are playing sound. The sound may contain voices and conversations, e.g. during video calls. The app processes it in memory only and does not record, store or transmit it; we have no access to it. When you teach the app a sound, it stores only computed sound features (numbers), no recording.
Volume of other programs: while the filter is running, the app turns programs that are playing sound down in the Windows volume mixer so you only hear the filtered sound. It asks you before the first start. The previous volume is restored as soon as a program stops playing or you stop the filter.
Hotkeys: while the filter is running, the app registers only the function keys you choose with Windows (default F8–F10). It does not receive any other keyboard input outside its own window.
The app's interface runs in Microsoft Edge WebView2, a Windows component. WebView2 includes Microsoft Defender SmartScreen, which sends information to Microsoft, and also collects diagnostic and crash data. Microsoft (Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited) processes this data under its own responsibility as described in Microsoft's Privacy Statement and in the section on SmartScreen. You control optional diagnostic data under Windows Settings > Privacy & security > Diagnostics & feedback. If a program crashes, Windows may, depending on this setting, send Microsoft an error report that can include memory contents.
When you download or update the app, Microsoft (Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, One Microsoft Place, South County Business Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18, Ireland) processes data such as your Microsoft account and device information under its own responsibility. See Microsoft's Privacy Statement.
Microsoft gives us statistics and crash reports about the app in Partner Center (e.g. stack traces, app version, device type, Windows version) as well as ratings and reviews. We use them only to fix bugs and improve the app (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
The privacy policy and legal notice are hosted by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. Cloudflare acts as our processor (Art. 28 GDPR). Links in the app open your default browser. When you visit these pages, Cloudflare processes technical access data: IP address, time, page visited and information about your browser and system. This serves to deliver the pages and protect them against abuse. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is operating these pages securely.
Data may be transferred to the USA. Cloudflare, Inc. is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which is covered by an adequacy decision of the European Commission (Implementing Decision (EU) 2023/1795, Art. 45 GDPR). Cloudflare does not state a fixed retention period for this data; it follows Cloudflare's privacy policy. We do not analyse it. These pages set no cookies and load no third-party content.
Contacting us is voluntary and not required to use the app. If you e-mail us, we process your e-mail address and the content of your message to reply to you. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is answering requests and supporting the app. We delete your message no later than 12 months after our last reply, unless we need it longer to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
We use Gmail for e-mail. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google processes your message under its own responsibility in accordance with its privacy policy and may also store it outside the EU, in particular in the USA. Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which is covered by an adequacy decision of the European Commission. If you prefer to avoid this, you can also reach us by post or phone (see Impressum).
The app has no age limit and does not ask for age. We do not receive data from children through the app either. If a child e-mails us, the section "Contact by e-mail" applies.
For the data we hold (mainly your e-mails), you have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20, where applicable) and objection (Art. 21). Contact diyarhas.dev@gmail.com. We have no access to data on your device; you can delete it yourself.
You may lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR), in particular in the country where you live or work or where the infringement took place. Our competent authority is the Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen (LDI NRW), Kavalleriestraße 2–4, 40213 Düsseldorf, Germany.
Where we process data on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR). An informal e-mail to diyarhas.dev@gmail.com is enough.
We will then stop processing the data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds or the processing serves legal claims.
If the app changes so that other data is processed, we will update this policy beforehand.
